Throttle-stick Calibration Futaba 14MZ and FX40

Futaba 14MZ has throttle stick stops. If you remove this you must calibrate the throttle stick.

It is 3 steps to calibrate the throttle stick:

If you do this you will make it on your on risk. I will not take any responsibility if something wrong will happen.

1:

First you must downgrade your 14MZ to Software: 1.0.10 and Encoder: 1.37. You must have an old software because the program we are going to use is only made for an old version of Futaba FX40. If you do not have correct version the test program will immediately turn off the transmitter.

Download old software from here: Futaba 14MZ 1.0.10 (If you have problem get this zip file to work when you download it with Windows Explorer. Download it with Opera instead)

Manual for update Futaba 14MZ will you find here: Futaba Hompage

NOTE: Europe area: the text will disappear on the top menu. It will come back again when you update the software again to latest version.

2:

Install the Futaba FX40 test program. NOTE! The program is for FX40, so all parts of the program will not work together with 14MZ. I know that Switches are different and it is probably more in the program which not is working together with 14MZ.

Download: Futaba FX40 test program (If you have problem get this zip file to work when you download it with Windows Explorer. Download it with Opera instead)

NOTE! You shall only move the T14mzUtility.exe file to the CF card.

You will find the manual on the test program here: FX40 test program manual

You are able to update more:

Remember that this program is for FX40 and what will happen if you change stick mode? I do not know. The difference between Airplane and Helicopter is the switch positions and the switch positions is different between FX40 and 14MZ. If you have a 14MZ I recommend to not change this.

3:

Upgrade your Futaba to latest version. You will find it here: Futaba hompage 2.4GHz

If you do this you will make it on your on risk. I will not take any responsibility if something wrong will happen.
